In June 2009, Christa & Andrew recorded their debut CD, THROW IT TO THE WIND: The Songs of Maltby & Shire at the legendary Nola Recording Studios on 57th Street in Manhattan. They assembled some of the city’s hottest musicians including Aaron Weinstein (violin & mandolin), Roni Ben Hur (guitar), Yasushi Nakamura (bass), Marion Felder (drums,) Cyrus Beroukhim (violin), and Jazz at Lincoln Center's own Victor Goines (clarinet). Set for a fall release date, this debut CD features bold new arrangements by Andrew Gerle with vocals by Christa Justus (and some very special guests!)
